Brent Pemberton

Brent Pemberton was born in Temple, Texas. He received a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture from Texas Tech University in 1978 and a Ph.D. in Floriculture from the University of Minnesota in 1983. He has been a project leader for Ornamental Research at the Texas AgriLife Research and Extension Center at Overton, Texas since 1982. His current title is Professor, Texas AgriLife Research, Texas A&M System. His research specialties include bedding plant production and greenhouse and garden performance evaluations, field and nursery production of garden roses, plant growth regulators, and landscape water use. He has been involved with the Texas Superstar® program for several years now and is currently Chair of the Texas Superstar® Executive Board.ate and Finance at the University of South Carolina, where he taught undergraduate as well as graduate-level real estate courses.
